Motion: Pr. David Rinas, Trinity Lutheran Church, Chelmsford, Mass., offered the following motion after the assembly approved the 2009 synod budget, which reflected major cuts due to lack of mission support:
BE IT RESOLVED that this Assembly direct the Synod Council to authorize and implement a “Second Mile” invitation for giving to the work of our Synod, the giving to be completed in time to positively impact the 2009
