BIBLE STUDIES
Advent
The Light Will Shine: A Study for Advent (The Kerygma Program). This five-session study is designed to provide fresh perspectives on the journey through Advent to Christmas and beyond, and to highlight the underlying message of the traditional scripture texts and themes for the season. It hopes to equip you to see beyond “the hustle and bustle, glitter and glamour” of a “commercial Christmas” to the “goods news and great joy” that forms the very foundation of our faith. Requires a serious commitment.

- Unit 3, On the Job Training. No one's perfect, so God graciously equips us to be disciples. Unit 3 highlights particular faith practices through a variety of biblical texts. B481
- Unit 4, More Than Just a Job. God's work is more than just a job — it's a new way of living together in mission. Unit 4 digs into stories like Pentecost that show us what it means to live our mission together. B260
- Unit 5, That’s a Deal. Unit 5 is the story of Israel and God’s promises to us. Exploring books of the Bible like Exodus and Joshua, Unit 5 reminds us of God’s covenants and promises. B641
