Assembly Approves $2.3M Budget for Fiscal 2007

The 2006 Assembly of the New England Synod approved a synod budget of $2,362,676 for fiscal year 2007. Of this amount, 45 percent (or $1,063,204) will be used within the synod, while 55 percent (or $1,299,472) will be forwarded to the ELCA to support churchwide ministries. The 45/55 split is standard procedure for the synod as a sign of its partnership with the ELCA.
