Asset Mapping Training Workshop

An Asset Mapping Training Workshop will be offered by the synod’s Youth, Young Adult and Family Ministry Team Monday, Oct. 22, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in downtown Worcester, Mass., prior to the Bishop’s Convocation. Cost is $20. Participants will receive a copy of Luther Snow’s book “The Power of Asset Mapping: How Your Congregation Can Act on Its Gifts,” as well as lunch. Participants will be trained to help any group discern God’s abundance and how God is calling them to use their assets in ministry. The workshop will be presented by Heidi Jakoby, co-chair of the Youth, Young Adult and Family Ministry Team.
