Resolution 08-02 Youth representation at Synod Assemblies – Referred to Synod Council for additional study

Resolution 08-03 Working to End the Genocide in Darfur – Passed Unanimously

Resolution 08-04 Thank you – Passed Unanimously

Motion: Pr. David Rinas, Trinity Lutheran Church, Chelmsford, Mass., offered the following motion after the assembly approved the 2009 synod budget, which reflected major cuts due to lack of mission support:

BE IT RESOLVED that this Assembly direct the Synod Council to authorize and implement a “Second Mile” invitation for giving to the work of our Synod, the giving to be completed in time to positively impact the 2009 Synod budget. (Passed)
