Coming Fall of 2006
Workshops introducing
Evangelical Lutheran Worship (ELW)
What is ELW? Evangelical Lutheran Worship is the new ELCA resource designed to serve as a core volume for liturgy and hymnody. In October 2006 it will be released in both print and electronic forms. Although 250 pages longer than Lutheran Book of Worship, the printed copy will be about the same size and weight as its predecessor.
Why this workshop? The day will provide introduction to the various musical settings of the liturgy, the Psalter and hymnody, as well as the other occasional services contained within the book. Plus, each registrant will receive a copy of ELW to take home.
Who should come? We welcome pastors, musicians, worship and music committee members, youth and young adults, church council members, and anyone else interested in praising God in word and song through Evangelical Lutheran Worship.
Bring a team! Each person should fill out a form to register. Click here for the form.
