Safe Church Coordinator

The Rev. Martha Klein Larsen serves as the Safe Church Coordinator of the New England Synod and facilitates relations with our Episcopal sisters and brothers in Province I, a province which corresponds geographically to our synod and includes the dioceses of New Hampshire , Rhode Island , Western Massachusetts, Massachusetts, Connecticut , Maine  and Vermont.

Congregations are encouraged to check the websites of these dioceses for information regarding Safe Church workshops and local resources for addressing safe church issues such as elder abuse, date rape, the Faith Trust Institute in Seattle , Washington , the Advocacy Web which provides advocacy for survivors, child abuse and policies for churches with regard to these issues.
